A very beautiful hike for August-September in the outstanding Lapland region of Kilpisjärvi. This nature reserve area has been protected since 1916 and was declared a strict nature reserve in 1938. There is only one trail in the park. At the end of the trail there is the border point of three countries: Finland, Sweden and Norway. You can return to civilisation either by walking the same trail back or by boat http://www.kilpisjarvi.org/cruz_fi.htm. There are also 2 cottages to stay overnight.

The Malla trail starts from a parking place at the north of lake Kilpisjärvi near Norwegian border.
